Totnes Rural Community Bus Association have taken delivery of their second new EVM Community Low Floor sprinter or more commonly known in Totnes as ‘Bobs Bus’ from EVM’s Sales office in Crawley, Three Bridges, West Sussex.
The Sprinter is based on the Euro 6 516 Cdi 163BHP Common Rail Direct Injection diesel engine. Transmission is a 7 Speed G Tronic automatic gear box with Blue Efficiency, and the exterior finished in ‘Bobs Bus’ yellow.
EVMs 120cm Double leaf rapid sliding powered entry door with external emergency release. Lightweight fold out ramp at entry door for wheel chair access. Pedestal for ticketing machine beside driver. “Push” Bells at 8 different locations in saloon for smooth exit.

EVM panoramic double glazed saloon side windows. Original Mercedes-Benz front windscreen and glass top roof.

Mercedes-Benz Sound 15 with 6” head up display – Radio/SD. Reversing camera displaying on Audio 15 head unit. Saloon speakers integrated in roof.
The Saloon features 16 ligero fixed back M2 seats with hip restraints to aisle side of all seats. Finished in moquette with leather head rests. Wheelchair backboard behind driver with safety belt.
EVM body moulded side skirts in matching vehicle colour. Colour coded bumpers, side mouldings and grille. Destination equipment fitted to the exterior.
As with all EVM minibus’s the vehicle is completed to European whole vehicle type approval and comes with full 3 year Mercedes-Benz Unlimited mileage Chassis Warranty.
