Lakeside Coaches takes delivery of their new model Euro 6 Sprinter VS30 EVM Avantgarde 19 seater + guide + driver.

Chassis:
The Sprinter is based on the Euro 6 516CDI extra-long wheel base with Common Rail Direct Injection diesel engine. Transmission is a 7 speed automatic gear box, and the exterior is finished in Mercedes-Benz Artic White.

Passenger Entry:
Access is via a new Masats plug type electric entry door with manual emergency release and exterior key lock facility with integrated three stage entry step with LED strip lights.

Glazing:
This model features EVM Panoramic double glazed saloon windows in privacy grey with the original aperture, Original Mercedes Benz windscreen and a glass top roof vent with break glass hammer.

Boot:
The boot has original Mercedes-Benz 270-degree hinge doors. The rear row of seats is on a raised pedestal. The boot is a full depth drop boot with fold out flap and stainless steel boot protector with a super long body at 400mm.

Climate Control:
The Avantgarde is fitted with an Eberspacher EV814 14KW saloon air conditioning and forced air ventilation ducted through luggage racks, exiting through passenger service units.

Entertainment:
The PA system is ready to use with a hand microphone, cable and clip fitted on to the dash. There is an additional microphone socket and clip fitted on left hand B pillar and a driver pedestal microphone. It also has a reversing camera with a 7” touch screen display.

Seating:
There are 19 EVM Executive class 110 seats which are fitted with 3-point seat belts and aisle folding arm rests and finished in real leather.

Flooring:
This vehicle is complete with wood effect hard wearing Tarabus non-slip flooring and a centre isle carpet.

Exterior Styling:
This Avantgarde features a front bumper spoiler with integrated day time running lights, side moulding, skirts and front grill. All complimented with an EVM chrome pack.

Additional Features:
There 12 USB charging ports fitted to each side of the bus at every seat row.

Warranty:
As with all EVM minibus’s the vehicle is completed to European whole vehicle type approval and comes with full 3-year Mercedes-Benz Unlimited mileage chassis warranty.

About the Customer:

Lakeside Coaches originated in 1979 when the Lakeside Mini coaches’ business was taken over by Mr John Davies. Its headquarters are located in Ellesmere. They offer 16-59 seater coaches which are available for hire to numerous individuals, groups and corporate customers. They operate over 55 vehicles for Ellesmere, Market Drayton, Wem and Shrewsbury with more than 80 staff employed.
The traditional look of Lakeside Coaches vehicles are finished in gold, light and dark green livery.
