Chassis
The Sprinter is based on the Euro 514CDI 6 Extra-long wheel base with Common Rail Direct Injection diesel engine. Transmission is a 7 Speed G Tronic Automatic gear box, and the exterior is finished in Mercedes Benz White.

Passenger Entry
Original Mercedes Benz hinged cab entry door for passenger access with moulded three stage entry step with LED strip lights.

Glazing
Original Mercedes-Benz passenger saloon windows in privacy grey.

Climate Control
Mercedes-Benz in-dash Tempmatic air conditioning with auxiliary hot water heater and heat booster. Saloon air conditioning and heating ducted through ceiling control unit.

Entertainment
Mercedes-Benz Audio 15 upgrade Radio and iPod input socket.

Seating
8 Retractable fold away leather seats, all with adjustable head restraints, 3 point seat belts and ISOFIX points.

Flooring
Complete floor is covered in TARABUS anti-slip flooring.

Accessibility
FiT® System Pro is a complete, user-friendly wheelchair restraint system for minibuses that provides extremely safe, absolutely equal and comfortable transport to all passengers, regardless of their physical limitations. With FiT® System Pro, securing and releasing wheelchairs is a simple task for the driver that requires no physical exertion. The folding seats are effortlessly folded away below the window line to free up places for wheelchairs. With a simple press of a button on the overhead panel in the ceiling of the minibus the necessary restraint hooks automatically pop into view.

Warranty
As with all EVM minibus’s the vehicle is completed to European whole vehicle type approval and comes with full 3-year Mercedes-Benz Unlimited mileage chassis warranty and 3-year EVM conversion warranty.

About the customer
Duty of Care and Manual Handling is a rear focus with in the care and health industry. For some time now Northern Ireland Trust was looking for a solution that would remove the requirement of having to remove quick release seats, looking for wheelchair restraints etc. Following an number of demonstrations with various departments, constructive planning and overcoming objectives they have taken delivery of their first M1 EVM Accessible Sprinter.
